For those of you that don't know, we spent the weekend at Connecticut Childrens Medical Center with Little Joe. We took him to the ER on Saturday morning with a high fever and they were concerned and admitted him. They did a spinal tap (was so hard to watch), and some blood and urine work. Those all came back negative today, so they released him, saying it's probably a virus and to watch his fever. But when we got home today, they called and said they'd like to have us bring him in tomorrow to get some more bloodwork done to rule out kidney problems. Hopefully, it will be nothing, but I really wish they'd done it while we were there… the waiting is rough. So, it's been a stressful few days. We're glad to be home, though, and trying to relax.
