One Day At A Time

Well, not the best news… Joe had a follow-up echocardiogram today. He's developed two small aneurysms. This places him in risk level 3… there are 6 levels (level 6 being giant aneurysms)… Basically, we were told he will have to stay on low-dose aspirin the rest of his life. And, of course, because of the heart damage, his chances for further problems are higher than the average person, but we're just trying to put it in perspective, hard as it is. None of us ever really knows how much time we have left, but when someone tells you your child's heart has been permenantly damaged to any degree, it's hard to accept.

Thanks again to everyone for your support. Our new motto is "one day at a time"….
