I took Joe down to the Frederick rink today to tryout for the Capital’s Youth Shoot-Out. I took a video for Darren, who was working overtime and couldn’t go. Joe didn’t qualify, but his positive attitude inspired me to make a little clip of some of the shots he did make!

Our annual attempt at family photos…. this year went surprisingly well, without any complaining or resistance to sit in one place for five minutes! I guess we are maturing!
The Summer just seems to be flying by. Between flooded basements and out-of-town visitors, we haven’t been able to all sit down together for a little “circle time” for awhile. After noticing a sizable black spot, that looked like mold, on the ceiling of our bedroom closet, we had to force ourselves not to think the worst.
