For the past few weeks I've become obsessed with researching eczema and trying to find some way to relieve Joe's itchiness. I've been on the elimination diet for five weeks, tried every cream and lotion out there, talked to many people on mailing lists, and visited many doctors and natural health practioners… It's to the point where I'm paranoid to eat anything for fear it might worsen his condition. Of course, within a month or two, he'll probably be starting some solids, too, which will pose a whole new challenge if he does have any allergies. So, I'm trying to find a healthy balance, and just cope day to day. We're thinking of taking a short vacation near the ocean somewhere to see if the change in environment helps any.
Yesterday, I had my dental checkup… I swear it's impossible to get ahead… Just when you think you have a little money saved up, something comes up… I don't have any cavities, but I need an old filling replaced… ugh…
Well, the sun is out momentarily, so I'm going to go take advantage of it not raining…
