Well, Flo, Joe and I are still in Belleoram, Newfoundland. Tomorrow we'll be celebrating Flo's fourth birthday here at her grandparent's house with some of the local kids, and then on Sunday, we'll be heading back to the "main land." It's beautiful here and we've really enjoyed our stay. Overall, Joseph has improved about 85%… he had a couple days of flare-up, but it's been much easier to care for him and his face is much better. Let's hope it stays that way when we head home…
Sunday we'll be heading to Port Aux Basques, where we'll meet my mom and spend a night or two before taking the ferry back to Nova Scotia… Then we'll take our time heading back to Connecticut, stopping in Saint John for a few nights, too.
Hopefully, Darren is enjoying his kid-free vacation at home, taking the opportunity to rest up for when we get back. Flo has definitely been a handful… who ever coined the phrase "terrible-two's," never had a four year-old… Ay carumba…
Anyway, it's been an adventure, but I miss my studly husband, and am looking forward to getting home, too… I guess that's what vacations are for… to make you appreciate home even more….
