We were supposed to close on our home at 2pm today. They called at 1pm to say something was being held up with the loan due to the fact that our lawn hasn't been put in yet and they were trying to arrange escrow for that, etc. JEESH! Who cares. But to make a long story short… We drove around most of the day and finally got a call to go to the title company at 6:30 PM. When we showed up, nobody was there except the title clerk, and the numbers she had for the loan paperwork were off, so we didn't sign anything. This whole fun thing is supposed to resume tomorrow at 11am. It's really getting irritating, but not much we can do at this point. Hopefully, everything will be resolved tomorrow.
